Draft Standard terms pending review by counsel in India and the US before launch.

The short version

Plain language · not legally binding
  1. At launch the site uses no advertising or analytics cookies.
  2. It uses your browser's session storage to keep form answers if you refresh, and to remember a dismissed banner.
  3. The bot check on forms may set a strictly necessary cookie.
  4. If we ever add optional cookies, we'll ask first, and rejecting will be as easy as accepting.

The numbered sections below are the terms that apply.

1. What this covers

This policy explains how quarrydata.ai uses cookies and similar technologies such as browser storage. It supplements the Privacy Policy.

2. What we use, by category

Strictly necessary. These make the site work and can't be switched off:

  • session storage quarry:lead: keeps your answers in a form if you refresh or go back; cleared when you close the tab or submit;
  • session storage quarry:prefill: carries the option you picked on one page to the form on another;
  • session storage quarry:announcement-dismissed: remembers that you closed the announcement bar for this visit;
  • Cloudflare Turnstile, when enabled on forms, may set a cookie to tell people from bots.

Analytics and advertising. None at launch.

3. Consent banner

Because the site currently uses only strictly necessary storage, it does not show a consent banner. If we add analytics or other optional cookies, we will ask for consent before setting them, with a banner where rejecting is as easy as accepting, and update this page first.

4. How to change your choices

You can clear or block cookies and site storage in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage may mean form answers are not kept between pages. Once optional cookies exist, you will be able to change your choice at any time from a link in the site footer.
