Licensed data reaches you one of two ways. Both are encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2 or later) and at rest.

Into your bucket

Every buyer gets a compartment of their own: one prefix, one role, opened for one delivery and locked again after.

For a large delivery, Quarry writes directly to a bucket you control in your cloud. You grant write access to a role Quarry gives you, scoped to one prefix, and revoke it when the delivery is done. Large datasets arrive in parts, each with its own manifest section.

By signed URL

For samples and smaller deliveries, you get signed, expiring download links. A link works only for the files it names and stops working when it expires.
