How listing works
For owners: from an application to a listed deal sheet, a licence and a payout.
Listing takes nine steps and one decision. Nothing identifiable leaves your systems before you sign off on a de-identified sample, and you're paid on each licence.
- Owner applies
- Rights review
- Rights clear? If not, fix notices or contracts and go back to review
- At-source de-identification
- Owner signs off on a de-identified sample
- Deal sheet listed
- NDA sample to a lab
- Licence signed
- Delivery with manifest
- Owner paid
A rights problem doesn't end the deal. It loops back to review once the notices or contracts are fixed.
The steps
- Apply. Use the owner form or the value estimator. Say what you hold, roughly how much, and which rights you hold.
- Rights review. Quarry checks who owns the recordings or studies, your customer notices and consent terms, your contracts with your own clients, and any approvals a hospital needs.
- Rights clear? If something is missing (a notice, a clause, an approval), we tell you what would fix it and review again.
- At-source de-identification. Quarry's pipeline runs inside your environment. See Installing the at-source agent.
- Sign-off. You review and approve a de-identified sample before anything is exported.
- Listed. The dataset gets a deal sheet. Your organisation is described by type (for example "Tier-1 healthcare BPO") and is named to a buyer only after an NDA.
- NDA sample. A lab evaluates a sample under the sample NDA.
- Licence. You set the terms: exclusive or not, permitted use, territory, term, and buyers you exclude.
- Delivery and payout. The lab receives the data with a manifest, and you're paid your revenue share on the schedule in your supplier agreement.
